Two-Story Rear Addition

The project began with the construction of a two-story, 1,000-square-foot rear addition that significantly expanded the home’s living space. Structural framing, foundations, and rooflines were carefully integrated into the existing house to ensure a seamless transition between old and new. The addition was designed to enhance both functionality and natural light while maintaining proper structural support and long-term durability.

Full Interior Remodel

Alongside the addition, the entire home underwent a comprehensive interior renovation. The kitchen was fully redesigned and rebuilt to improve layout, workflow, and aesthetics, creating a central gathering space suited for everyday living and entertaining. Interior finishes throughout the home were updated to provide a cohesive look, with improved flow between rooms and a more open, welcoming atmosphere.

Architectural Features & Custom Details

To elevate the character of the home, we incorporated exposed wood beams and vaulted ceilings, adding warmth, texture, and visual interest to key living areas. A custom double-sided fireplace was constructed as both a functional and architectural centerpiece, creating a strong connection between spaces while enhancing comfort and ambiance. These details helped define the home’s identity and bring craftsmanship to the forefront.

Exterior Renovation, Decks, & Building Envelope

The exterior of the home was fully updated with new siding and replacement windows, improving energy efficiency, weather resistance, and overall curb appeal. Two new decks were constructed to expand outdoor living space and take advantage of the home’s lake setting. These exterior upgrades not only refreshed the appearance of the home but also improved performance and durability in a demanding lakeside environment.

Mechanical & Infrastructure Upgrades

Major mechanical upgrades were completed to support the expanded home and modern living demands. Plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems were upgraded for improved efficiency, reliability, and comfort. In addition, the septic system was replaced to accommodate the increased square footage and ensure long-term functionality in compliance with local regulations.

Cohesive Transformation & Final Results

This project was more than an addition—it was a complete transformation of the home. By coordinating structural expansion, interior remodeling, exterior improvements, and system upgrades, we delivered a unified result that feels intentional and well-executed from every angle. The finished home offers expanded living space, enhanced comfort, and timeless craftsmanship, creating a lakefront residence built to be enjoyed for generations.
