Jim Casali was the contractor responsible for my home repair project. The repairs were being made due to storm damage. This review is being written as a thorough recommendation of Mr. Casali and his services based on his knowledge, interpersonal skills, and professionalism. Mr. Casali’s knowledge of his trade was extremely impressive during every step of our renovation process, which included the roof, chimney, siding, windows, and insulation replacement and installation. Additionally, we had repairs to drywall, wall paint, windows and door trim, a full sunroom replacement and the demolition and rebuilding of a new pressure treated deck. He was also instrumental in communicating with our town zoning and building inspectors, as well as working with our insurance adjustor and structural engineer. His knowledge, guidance, and assistance allowed us to focus on our life and family, which was very comforting. Mr. Casali made a sincere effort to build a relationship with our family, including my children, from the first day we met. This was a tremendous help during the most difficult of times. It was clear that our project was important to him and not just another job and he demonstrated sincere empathy and patience with us, as this was our first project of this magnitude. Our family and the circumstances we were in were clearly a priority to Jim, and that should not be understated. While establishing a trustworthy relationship, Mr. Casali was extremely professional at the same time. He arrived on time - every time, answered calls and texts in a timely fashion, and provided comprehensive details of each task and procedure throughout the process. We always felt that our questions or concerns were respectfully heard and answered, and we were promptly accommodated if we had special requests or adjustments. It is with tremendous confidence that I recommend Jim Casali for building, remodeling or the renovation of your home.

Jim, we want to thank you again for all the hard work that went into our new house addition. The new room came out excellent! If anyone needs more info. as to our experience here is what I would tell them. First, your attention to detail and the guidance you gave us from the very start to the very finish was certainly very helpful. We were faced with many decisions along the way from the plans to the final construction. I know at times, things were a little stressful with the delays from the town permits to the final C/O. But you displayed patience with us and helped us understand the process. Going back to detail, you were very meticulous on each phase of the work by your subcontractors ensuring completeness and accuracy, as well as cleanliness after each phase was completed. All your sub-contractors were also so courteous and helpful in many ways. Before each phase of this construction, you took much time with us to explain the details of things like the Plans, the Survey, the Footings and their placement, the Boxing of the base, the Framing, the Wiring, the Insulation, the position of the Lights, the Thermostat and the Outlets, even the Hurricane Brackets which was totally new to me!! You were exact on your measurements on things like the placement of the windows and doors. You were very informative on guiding us on the type of windows we should get to the style of the French Door. The Radiant Floor Heating you put in was superb! The final painting of the trim work and the walls were the final touches that made this room come together. I also appreciated your suggestion on the shoe moldings, this certainly added an aesthetic appeal to the room. When getting into a project like this, we found things that we needed to change. You were accommodating on the Change Work Orders and your frequent Progress report was certainly a big help. We kept within our budget on this room which otherwise we could not do very well without your help. In regards to staying on schedule, we faced the weather woes going into the fall, but you made time to keep the job on pace by getting your subcontractors to work on the weekends. We learned a lot from this experience and we are very glad we chose you and your team do this project. I did not need to go to any other contractor as I already lived in a well-built house by you and your dad 20 years earlier. The final comment; is your follow-up. We certainly appreciate wanting to know that things like the heat, the windows etc. we’re performing well long after the completion. We would certainly recommend you to anyone that is looking to build a house or add a room or two. Thanks again for all the hard work and the excellent work performed!!! You certainly are a PRO!!!

It was a pleasure to have worked directly with Jim Casali. His Professionalism was obvious from the first time we met. Jim showed his expertise at the planning stage, during the construction and well beyond the completion of the project at our lake home. When working in the existing part of our home Jim’s team plastic wrapped everything and sealed off the area with a wall of plastic tarp. The team cleaned up daily and was extremely conscientious of the furniture, floors and walls. I enjoyed an active collaboration throughout the entire project with Jim. Unlike other contractors Jim was available after hours and on the weekends by phone or to meet for discussions. I am the first to admit I require more interaction and handholding than most. Jim was always available for me. There were plenty of 9:00pm calls to discuss this or that. The most important aspect of building an addition or new construction is being able to trust your contractor, your partner in the project. After hearing all the horror stories I thank my lucky stars I decided to choose Jim Casali. Jim’s building practices aren’t just about the construction. Jim’s gift is recognizing the wants and needs of his clients and executing them properly. We discussed options and together made the best decisions for our project. His workmanship was outstanding, that of great craftsman. My wife and I are ecstatic with our 3,000sf addition and have gained more than just a contractor we have gained a friend. I would recommend Jim Casali without question.
