The goal for the design, construction, and materials in this project was to give the sense of a modern yet old southern appearance while utilizing all of today’s technologies. Reclaimed antique wide plank flooring, cathedral ceilings in the upstairs bedrooms, Crawford ceiling in the family room, and stone fireplace in the front living area. Custom gourmet kitchen, Native marble in the grand entry, Washout brick appears on the exterior of the home, oversized porch done with Ipe wood & elegant wide columns, the system controls the home’s interior and exterior audio, video, lighting control, and pool integration.
